School's Out

Children need a safe place to play, learn and grow during out-of-school hours.  We offer structured time for K-5th grade students to complete homework, participate in arts and crafts and play group games, as well as free time for children to make new friends, play outside, relax and have fun.  A healthy snack and/or breakfast is provided for your child each day.  All children are welcome at School's Out and we work with families to ensure the successful participation of all participants.

Our School's Out families are welcome to visit our program anytime.  Our staff look forward to talking with you about your child's day, answering any of your questions and helping you get to know how your child spends their out of school time.

Our staff strive to be positive role models through the YMCA's four character development traits: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our staff also encourage the children to display these characteristics while they are at the program.

Children are dismissed to our childcare program from school and can be picked up by their parent/guardian anytime before 6:00.  School's Out begins at the Early Release dismissal time on each school's scheduled Early Release days.
