Volunteer Recognition
The Southern District YMCA/Camp Lincoln is successful due to the contributions of our wonderful volunteers. Each November, we hold a volunteer recognition dinner to thank our amazing volunteers and recognize outstanding volunteer service in the categories of Group Service, Board Service, Adult Individual Service, Youth Individual Service. These volunteers exemplify YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We are blessed and honored to have such dedicated volunteers as part of our YMCA family.
Volunteers of the Year, Awarded November 2008
Group Service Award: City Year of New Hampshire, represented by Bobby Kessling and Kim Aalberg
Board Service Award: Scott Kingsley, past YMCA Board co-chair and current member
Adult Individual Service Award: Marilyn Kellogg, creator of Camps for Diversity
Youth Individual Service Award: Jeremy Hall, summer counselor-in-training, recognized for his great leadership, willingness to lend a hand at any time, and constant caring for others above self.
