Camp Gundalow Traditional Day Camp

Grades:  Kindergarten through 9th Grade (at least five years old as of June 21, 2010)

Dates:  June 21 - August 20  (1 Week Sessions)  - $ 175
 
YMCA Camp Gundalow day’s start at 8:30 am and end at 4:15 pm. There are pre- and post- Camp options. Limited bus routes transport campers to and from Camp with no additional charges. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your camper and how they will fit in to the Camp Gundalow day.

Eagles 

Ages: Entering Grades K* – 2
 
Ratio: 1 to 8
 
Campers will be immersed in the Traditional Camp experience. They will learn and play while creating unforgettable experiences. Our well-trained and caring staff help guide campers through their day which may include archery, boating, sports, nature exploration, and arts & crafts. Each fun-filled week will be an experience both you and your camper will love. This is an opportunity to create friendships that will last a lifetime. *(Camper must be at least 5 years of age)
 

Middlers

Ages: Entering Grades 3 – 5
 
Ratio: 1 to 10
 
Created with the growing camper in mind. Middlers are given added responsibilities and privileges around camp. They choose their own program areas which allow them to get the most from their camp experience. Water skills are an important part of traditional camp and swim lessons and free swim are offered daily with their cabin group. Counselors work to build friendship and a sense of community within the unit.
 

Voyagers

Ages: Entering Grades 6 – 9
 
Ratio: 1 to 10
 
Voyagers are our oldest camper group and have the chance to personalize their schedules, learn new skills, take part in leadership opportunities, and make new friends. They get to choose their four weekly Skill Classes.   Voyagers will have free swim. This group is especially expected to be responsible role models and leaders for the younger campers.

* We truly enjoy filling summer camp with new opportunities for your camper. Please know that there are no guarantees of which Program Areas will be available each week. They are based on Counselor availability and camper enrollment.
