Junior CIT Program

Grades:  Must be 14 years of age by June 14, 2010

Dates:  June 21 – July 16  (4 Week Session)  - $550
            July 19 – August 13  (4 Week Session)  - $550

The Junior Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program is the first step in an individual’s transition from camper to possible staff member. CIT’s develop strong leadership skills through training, discussion, observation, and practice. These newly honed skills are applied in leadership opportunities throughout Camp in supervised programs. The aim of this program is to challenge the CITs to engage in new and traditional activities, build friendships, and help develop a positive work ethic that they can apply to any leadership experience. CIT’s are mentored by experienced counselors

Senior CIT Program

Grades:  Must be 15 years of age by June 14, 2010

Dates:  All Summer  (8 Weeks)  - Application process

The Senior CIT program prepares participants for life as a staff member.  CITs are expected to apply their learned skills to perform assigned tasks throughout camp. This program is competitive and it is highly recommended that the applicants have previously completed the Junior CIT program.
