Adventure Trips

Ages: 12 – 15 years old
Dates: June 20 - August 13 (1 & 2 Week Trips)
Our trips have a maximum of 10 participants with co-leaders who guide the group to ensure safety and fun. Certain activities require guides from specialized outfitters while other programs rely on our own appropriately trained Adventure Staff.
Goals for each trip are to enhance self-confidence, build group living skills, demonstrate respect for the environment, encourage positive decision-making and continue character development.
Ratings: Trips are rated on level of intensity.
(C) These trips are an introduction to new activities and development of group skills. Participants should be of sound physical ability.
(B) These trips require more physical effort, confidence and maturity.
(A) These trips require sustained effort for extended periods of time. Tough physical and/or mental challenges with more rustic camping environments are expected. Previous camping experience and endurance are required.

All trips meet on Sunday at 5:00 pm. Make sure you eat dinner before you come. Pick-up is at 6:00 pm Friday night.
White Mountains Exploration (B) June 20 – 25 - $475
Travel north to the White Mountains and enjoy their majesty. Hike across a ridge, climb your way up a secluded rock face, explore waterfalls and enjoy clear mountain pools. The evenings are spent around the campfire with stories, skits, talents and more.
Bikes & Beaches 1 (B) June 20 – 25 - $525

Travel to Cape Cod and enjoy the Rail Trail and sandy beaches on your bike. Then, travel to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. We will stay at the Youth Hostel on the islands and lounge on the quiet, warm beaches between bike rides. Spend the week relaxed!
Sea Kayaking (A) June 27 – July 2 - $525
Go kayaking and island hopping along the coast of Maine. Paddling along the rocky coastline lends itself to sightings of seals, osprey, puffin and whales. Learn proper paddling techniques and low impact camping methods. Spend the nights on secluded islands with a Maine Guide who will entertain and amaze.
Camp to Community to Canopy (C) June 27 – July 2 - $475
Begin the week with an attitude of service. We partner with a community organization to have a positive impact on the lives of others. Hard work is rewarded on the last day when we take to the treetops for a zip-line canopy tour. As of printing, specific work projects are not yet known. You asked for it! Girls and guys, you’ve got your own trips this year! Ladies, you’ll start out heading north to do some rock climbing while gents, you’re going north to ride the rapids! Then groups switch activities. Spend the week with experts developing and honing your skills while enjoying the scenery of the North Country.
Quebec Urban Adventure 1 (C) July 11 – 16 - $525

Not interested in tents or campfires? Take the urban adventure. Visit the Citadel, Canada’s largest water park and more! Campers will stay at the historic youth hostel in Old Quebec City and have time to explore the city’s sites and make new friends. All campers must travel with their current passport.
The Canadian Maritimes – A Two Week Tour (B) July 18 – 30 - $1050
Three provinces in 12 days! This trip is filled with culture, camping, urban adventure and much more! Start off camping alongside the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, take one of the world’s longest bridges to Prince Edward Island, and finish the trip exploring Halifax, canoeing through a National Park, and enjoying some of the world’s greatest hospitality in Nova Scotia. All campers must travel with their current passport.
Maine Event (B) July 25 – 30 - $525
From the ocean to mountains and trails, we are out to explore Acadia National Park and find the best of Maine. Campers will spend the week sea kayaking, hiking, rock climbing and biking. The nights are filled with campfires, stories, s’mores and tons of fun. You do not want to miss this event.
Whitewater Rafting (B) August 8 – 13 - $525
This trip heads to the Kennebec River in central Maine. Spend time learning how to navigate the rushing waters of the river in inflatable kayaks and graduate to class 3-4 rapids in rafts and kayaks. We will be working with Maine certified guides who are entertaining and make the time worthwhile – as if rafting were not enough! Evenings will be spent around the campfire with stories, s’mores and talent shows.
