Core Value Kids of the Month

Each month a student from each of our School's Out programs is recognized for demonstrating one or all of the YMCA's Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Keep reading to meet this year's Core Value Kids!
 


Brentwood

Ashlynn Braley - Because Ashlynn is always smiling and has been awesome at participating in games and crafts!  She is never rude and always respectful toward others.  Thanks, Ashlynn!

Shanice Marotto-Potvin - Because Shanice is always having fun, but knows when it is time to be serious and sets a great example of this for the other children. She does a great job of helping other children learn how to be a good role model. Shanice is always smiling and helping others to smile!
 
Madison MacDonald - Because Madison is always open and honest, smiling and caring, and respectful toward everyone around her. She is very responsible and always willing to help others after she gets her own work done. Keep up the great work and attitude, Maddy!

Danville

James King – Because James never comes short of showing respect, responsibility, caring and honesty at all times!  James is very fair with all children and his smile always brightens a room.  Thanks for being a great role model, James!

Willow Normandin - Because Willow loves to help out wherever she can.  She is always respectful when she has to wait.  Willow is very kind and caring and always has a big smile on her face.  Thanks for being so positive, Willow!

Janna Robertson - Because Janna is very respectful toward the YMCA staff and her schoolmates. Janna is very enthusiastic about everything she does and is always helpful without having to be asked. This fun-loving and cheerful girl comes to School’s Out everyday with a smile on her face!

Emma Richelsoph - Because Emma always lends a helping hand to anyone in need. She is a young leader who follows the YMCA's Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. She is very responsible because she follows directions and does tasks without having to be asked. Emma puts 100% effort into everything she does!

East Kingston 

Joshua Berthel - Because Joshua is always diligent with homework, polite and respectful to adults and a good sport.  Thanks, Joshua for being a great role model!

Sean Penna - Because Sean is a leader in sports games and teaches other children how to play fair. Sean is always polite and is a good role model for his schoolmates!
 
Sarah Mahoney - Because Sarah is a positive role model to her schoolmates! She helps out with snack and always does her homework every day. 

Fremont

Ben Szaniawski – Because Ben is very responsible and respectful.  He is very responsible with his belongings and never forgets anything at the program.  Ben is very respectful to staff and other children at the program.

Emily Newman - Because Emily is always smiling and playing with her YMCA friends.  She is very polite and respectful to everyone at School's Out.  Thanks for being a great role model, Emily!

Madigan Forman - Because Madigan is a very good sport about any game.  She is always willing to switch teams if we need to “even things up.”  She is also very caring about her friends’ feelings if she sees they are upset.  Thanks, Madigan!

Lauren Lanseigne - Because Lauren is always very caring to others at School’s Out. She follows directions very well and is respectful toward her peers and the YMCA staff. Lauren is very responsible and always completes her homework during homework time.
 
Zoe Ferrara - Because Zoe is always respectful, friendly and listens to staff and other children really well! She is very helpful with activities and enjoys showing others how to do them.
 
Robert Poggi - Because Robert always follows the YMCA's four Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility! He is very caring and always plays with other children when they seem lonely.

Hampstead

Sean Kelley - Because Sean has spent countless time helping others to make paper airplanes! He always finds humor in a situation and often lends a helping hand in setting up for the day. Thanks, Sean!
 
Jack Berrigan - Because Jack comes to the program every day with a bright smile and a positive attitude! He helps to set-up, clean-up and can always be counted on to make good decisions. Keep up the good work!
 
Brenden Connolly - Because Brenden is one of the youngest kids in the program, but he always remembers to say "please," "thank you" and he is always positive!

Hampton

Jessica Hicks & Alyssa Perzanoski - Because one day, Jessica and Alyssa stopped what they were doing to play Monopoly with a kindergartener.  Thanks for being so caring toward your School’s Out friends!

Kayla Burgess & Christina Kahigian - Because Kayla and Christina are always friendly and helpful to the staff and children.  Thanks for being caring members of School’s Out! 

Kenny Doyle - Because Kenny borrowed a snack idea book from the library to help our group find new ideas for fun snacks.  Thanks for sharing this with us, Kenny!

Hannah Doherty - Because Hannah has been a good friend to one of the new children at School's Out by including her in conversation during snack time. Hannah helped to make her feel like she was part of the group!
 
Katelyn Deyo - Because Katelyn taught all the new girls how to crochet while she was crocheting herself. She shared her skill with others. 

Kingston

Jakob Douglas – Because Jakob has a positive attitude and a smile when is at the YMCA.  He is a good friend to others at School’s Out and a great helper to the YMCA staff!  Thanks, Jakob!

Spencer Bortone - Because Spencer always shows respect toward everyone at School's Out.  He is always courteous to others' feelings and makes good choices.  Thanks for being a good role model, Spencer! 

Chris DeYoung - Because Chris is always respectful and fair while playing with other children.  He is always responsible during homework time.  Thanks for being a great role-model!

Hannah Page - Because Hannah is very polite and respectful to the YMCA staff. She is always happy to play with any child who asks. Thanks, Hannah, for your positive attitude!

Emylee Cote - Because Emylee helps staff to put away the School's Out carts, is a good listener, follows directions and is respectful of all the other kids!
 
Adam Berardi - Because Adam always comes to School's Out with a postive attitude and smile! He is constantly helping the staff, respectful of and toward the younger children and is honest about his homework.

Newton

Samantha Davidson – Because Samantha has a positive attitude and is helpful and caring toward others whenever she can be.  Sammie does a great job making everyone laugh with her bubbly personality!

Hannah Miron - Because Hannah is always smiling and has an attitude that will make anyone’s day brighter!  Thanks for being a positive part of School’s Out, Hannah!

Codi Jolicoeur - Because Codi has grown up since September in so many ways.  He is very helpful, caring and a positive role model for all the kids at School’s Out.  Thanks, Codi!

Dominique Dubois - Because Dominique has a very fun-loving personality that everyone at School’s Out enjoys! She helps with anything and everything and is a positive role-model for her peers. Dominique is honest, caring, responsible and respectful!
 
Elizabeth Gonyer - Because everyday Lizzy comes to the program with a smile and hugs! She gives hugs to sad children, always listens to other kids' stories and tries to bring others together to play games like Sorry and house. Lizzy is a good friend, wonderful listener and an awesome leader!
 
Lexi Lariviere - Because Lexi is always happy and smiley! She has something positive to say in every situation. Lexi is responsible, extremely helpful and caring toward the other children and staff.

North Hampton

Alisyn McNamara - Because Ali is always helpful and kind.  She also did a wonderful job designing our site’s holiday card.  Thanks, Ali! 

Ryan Quinn - Ryan is always very repectful and he is kind to the other kids in the program. Hehas been taking on extra responsibility, leading games, providing homework help, and as a co-leader for our School's Out band!

Ben Kotzen - Because Ben is polite, kind and respectful. He helps to lead group games and assists younger children with their homework. Keep up the good work, Ben!

Amayah Schofield - Amayah has a very caring heart! She goes out of her way to befriend the new children at School's Out and spends extra time with them to make sure they feel welcome.

Raymond

Anthony Ferrante and Nicholas Fitton – Because Anthony and Nicholas are fun and energetic whenever they are at5 the program.  They always offer to help both staff and kids alike.  They are very active and always on the go from the moment they step foot in the program until they leave.  Anthony and Nicholas always have smiles on their faces and are very respectful toward others.  Thanks for being great role models!

Matthew Carter - Because Matthew best exemplifies what it means to be a Core Value Kid.  He is extremely respectful toward staff and other kids, always has a smile on his face and everyday he is ready to play no matter what the activity is.  Thanks for being a positive part of School’s Out, Matthew!

Grace Woolson - Because Grace is always respectful to staff and her schoolmates.  She is a good and  caring friend.  Thank, Grace for being a positive role model!

Ja'vell Desir - Because Ja’Vell comes to School’s Out with a smile everyday! He makes a point of saying “Hi!” and being polite to his peers and the YMCA staff.

Kevin Serrano - Because Kevin is always helpful with staff and children, will be anybody's bathroom buddy even if he is in the middle of something else and finishes his homework quickly and quietly. Kevin is always polite, smiling, respectful and responsible!

Megan McCoole - Because Megan always asks to help with snack, cleans up, helps other children at the homework table and picks up the playground!

Seabrook

Alivia Callan - Because Alivia is always ready to go when she comes to School’s Out.  She helps with homework and during clean-up and snack time.  Alivia displays great sportsmanship when we play games.  Thanks for being a great role model!

TJ Larkin - TJ is mature beyond his years and has the most positive and optimistic attitude in our program. I'm very sad to see him move on, but I know he'll make a great addition to any program!
 
Alex Erosa - Because Alex has a great ability to energize the group in a positive and proactive way. His positive energy really is contagious!

Stratham

Sarah McCallister - Because Sarah has demonstrated great leadership in our Assistant-In-Training program. She works well with younger children and her peers, leads crafts and games and always has a great smile!
